Video 10. How do I test my message?

You can see a preview of your messages or send yourself a test version. This is a great way to make sure your messages look exactly how you want them before they get sent out to your list.

Step by Step Instructions

1. When editing a message, at the top right corner of the editor click "Preview & Test".

2. This will take you to the "Preview & Test" window. On this page you can check out your message's appearance. To send a test version of your message, enter your email address into the field near the top of the page.

To the right, you can click the "Personalize" button to enter any personalization fields that you're using (for instance, if you're using the "First Name" personalization), and click the "Send Test" button to send yourself a test copy of the message.

3. To test a draft that you've already saved, click the "Send Options" button and select "Send a Test Email".

4. In the window that appears, enter your email address in the first field.

If using personalization, click the "Personalize" button. Then, fill out any personalization fields that you are using in the message (such as name or any other of your list's custom fields). Next, click "Send Test" to send a test copy to yourself.
