Everyone has a brand. It’s your style, your tone, those little visual cues that set you apart from the other guys. Even if you don’t fancy yourself a designer, you probably have an idea of what you want your brand to look like.
So when people started asking for the ability to customize their Atom sign up forms with their own brand, we totally understood.
You can now customize the look and feel of your Atom sign up form however you like!
Your sign up form, your way.
What can you customize? To start, you can upload your logo or a photo and even change the background color of your form. Want to add a photo of your cat? We won’t judge.
Tell people what they’ll get when they sign up to your list with a customizable headline and description text. Edit the name and email fields and change the text on the sign up button for a more personalized experience.
You can even change the language in each of these areas if you want. And, in case you were wondering, Atom speaks emoji. 🙂

New in the Atom App: Upload Photos from Your Mobile Device to the Message Editor
When it comes to email marketing, you often only have a few fleeting moments to grab your reader’s attention. Adding pictures to your emails is a great way to make your emails stand out from the pack. That’s why we’ve added the ability to upload photos from your mobile device with the Atom app directly into your image gallery in your AWeber account.
Simply select any photo you want to upload, then choose the Atom app icon. When you log into your AWeber account to compose a message, your image will be waiting for you in your image gallery within the Message Editor.
Now all you need are some great photos. Having studied photography and owning more than my fair share of cameras, I use my phone more than any other camera I own. To help you get started, I’ve put together some tips for taking AWesome photos with your mobile device.

Lighting
Natural lighting will produce the best results. Try to find a window or go outdoors to get that natural light. Watch closely as you position your camera and subject to see where there is contrast and shadows. They can add significant interest to your shots.
Composition
The composition of your photos are all of the elements that will help your subject look its best. For example, can you find symmetry in your photo? What about potential patterns? Look for pleasing foregrounds and backgrounds that draw attention to what you want. Also take note of the rule of thirds to achieved well-composed photos.
Quantity
When shooting with phones especially, you should take more than one shot each time. Some at the same angle, then more at a different angle. There is a greater chance you will move slightly and blur your image since your phone is so lightweight. By taking multiple shots you can make sure that there is at least one in focus. You can always go back and delete the extras afterwards.
Simplicity
Keep the images simple. If there is too much going on, the photo can actually distract rather than complement your messaging.
Editing
Now that you have some amazing shots, it is time to edit them. You will probably need to make some adjustments to the photo to take it to “the awesome level.” There are several great apps for this. If you are on the iPhone, the native editing tools within the photo app are good with cropping, auto-adjusting and tweaking. But if you’d like to get more advanced, try an app like VSCO Cam or Snapseed (both are available on iOS and Android).
